Spotlight: Yorkshire
Andy & Dianne are our regional co-ordinators for Yorkshire. They live in Leeds with their young grandson, who has FAS; they have recently been granted a Special Guardianship order for him.
Andy says, "Myself and Dianne enjoy meeting new people and enjoy the challenge of being able to support people affected by FASD. We are always willing to offer people a shoulder to cry on.
Our hopes are that we would be able to provide a quality service that anyone affected by FASD in the Yorkshire region can access for help and support."
The Yorkshire Support Group next meets at 11am until 1pm on Saturday 4th June 2011 in Roundhay Park; gather by the cafe. Bring your own picnic, and watch for surprises!
