| | After our successful Local Study Day for Medical & Healthcare Professionals on May 9th, we are pleased to announce that, due to their growing popularity, several further Local Study Days are now arranged. The first of these will take place at the Eastpoint Centre in Southampton on Thursday, 27th June 2013. | | Are you a teacher, and do you have a child with FASD in your class? Are you a headteacher, with FASD-affected children in your school? Then here is some very important news for you. We have launched our Education Professionals Forum, to serve as a focus of advice, discussion and information exchange, specifically for teachers and other professionals working in the education sector.
And the date of the first meeting that will formally launch the Forum is now set! It will take place on Friday, 12th July 2013, at the Deafblind UK Conference Centre, Peterborough. | | Our next scheduled Support Group event takes place in a Fire Station! Carlisle East Fire Station, to be precise. Our Cumbria Support Group is meeting there on Saturday, 1st June. [Please note that this is a date change from 25th May.]
