Julia Brown was on BBC Radio Kent at 8.20am on Thursday 10 April 2008 as they did a feature on their morning breakfast show about FASD.

 

They had an interview with a family from Kent who have adopted 5 children with FASD, along with Dr Raja Mukherjee, then Julia was interviewed live at 8.20am. 

 

Such pieces are important for us in that they not only raising awareness of the dangers of drinking when pregnant, but also increase awareness of FASD and how it affects a person.  Hopefully, people will start to then understand those affected and be more supportive towards them and their families / carers.
